Grade Chemical Peels
A
Medical Grade Chemical Peel goes below the epidermal layer of
skin, causing old, dead skin cells to slough off in a matter of
days. This results in
skin cell rejuvenation; the acceleration of the production of new
skin cells taking the place of the old, dead skin cells.
Thus resulting in softer, younger looking skin.
Depending on your individual skincare needs, 1-3 peels are
necessary, initially.
This is a more aggressive approach to reaching your goal of
great skin tone and smoother, softer, younger looking skin.
Two levels of Medical Grade Chemical Peels are offered.
Upon consultation Dr.. Fox, the appropriate
peel will be selected that will meet
your needs. Ask about
the Vi Peel ™ for Acne prone skin.
Glycolic
Peels
Using
Medical Grade Glycolic Acid, your skin will gently slough with
generally to no visible “peeling”.
This is for the client who does not want visible dry peeling
skin. This process is
slower but will encourage cellular turnover, nonetheless. With a
series of 5-6 peels, you will notice a difference in the skin’s
appearance, texture, softness & skin tone.
It will even help with pore congestion and lessen the
appearance of wrinkles.
We utilize the Jan Marini Professional Bioglycolic ® for our 70 %
treatments
Microdermabrasion
This
is a soft sanding of the top layers of skin using a
microdermabrasion machine and tiny crystals.
It is non-invasive and has no “down-time”.
It if often called the “lunch-time” peel as it is fast
and leaves little to no redness.
Unlike the Glycolic Peel, microdermabrasion instantly erases
the Epidermal (top layer) of skin again forcing the skin cells to
regenerate. In time and
with several treatments, your skin will look younger, have a healthy
glow and have fewer breakouts.
You
can use all of the above treatments to treat:
