Cranial Sacral Manipulation
What is Cranial Sacral
Manipulation? It is a subtle osteopathic manipulation
technique that is based on a the theory that the maintains a
subtle rhythm of fluidity in the central nervous system.
This rhythm exists between the brain and the sacral spine, and
is expressed through the rhythm within the cerebral-spinal fluid
and tissue mechanics of the coverings. Normal rhythm
should be free of tensions and adhesions. Peripheral
injuries or tensions in musculoskeletal structure can disrupt
this low amplitude rhythm.
